I think everyone here is familiar with the game MINECRAFT.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, here’s the short version : Minecraft is a game in which you play as a human that wakes up on an island. You must use all your skills and abilities to create a “civilized” life for yourself by building different objects from the resources collected from the world. Come the night you will face a zombie apocalypse if you haven’t built yourself a shelter. It has pixelated graphics and features a multiplayer mode.
You might think :”How is this in any way related to android phones?”. It is, pretty much, related since we now have android phones capable of playing this game. I am of course referring to Sony Ericsons Xperia PLAY.
Now I haven’t had the pleasure of using an Xperia PLAY, but I cannot help but wonder, how can a game that lags on the most high-end PCs run smooth on a Phone ? Of course I could be wrong and it could be better optimized.
We can only hope that Mojang will expand and make this wonderful game for more than one type of Droid Phone
