The Sony Xperia Z2, a really great smartphone ( and, if I’m not mistaken, their latest flagship ) has recently gone on Pre-Order i early April, having a few of those said orders shipped around April 15. The wide handset launch was delayed, though, due to a few stock shortages probably caused by a few sudden bottlenecks.
It was later announced that the launch of the phone would be moved to the 1st of May, and this time things went without a hitch. The official Sony Online Stores across Europe are now offering the Sony Xperia Z2 for purchase. The device is currently in stock and ready to ship immediately ( via standard or express delivery, depending on the available options ). The phone is available in 3 colors, and they’re all in stock – White, Purple and Black.
As for the pricing, this isn’t exactly the cheapest of phones – especially considering how much hardware it has inside ( heck, it’s worth saying that this is probably one of the strongest phones out ) – and you’ll have to carefully consider where you get it from while taking into account your currency exchange rate. Sony UK is asking £599, where as Sony France, Spain and Italy is asking €699. Also, it appears that Sony Germany has a slightly lower price of €679 for the Xperia Z2.
Altogether it’s a pretty great phone, and if you have the capital for it, I’m sure it’s well-worth every penny. For those disappointed by the pricing, keep in mind that this is a flagship phone, or in other terms – one of the strongest devices Sony will be releasing this year.
