Today we’re going to be taking a look at the Samsung Galaxy S III T999. As I mentioned a few times in the past, I would review all of the versions of the Samsung Galaxy S III. I did the Verizon one and the AT&T already, so last but not least I’ll review the T-Mobile version. The Samsung Galaxy S III T999 is known in a few different names as well : Samsung SGH-T999 and Samsung Galaxy S III T-Mobile.

Since I don’t want to waste any time with long intros and you probably don’t want to either, let’s begin this little review.
GENERAL
We’ll start off by taking a few looks at the more general aspects of the Samsung Galaxy S III T999. Here you can find out a bit about the supported networks and the announcement and release dates. The Samsung Galaxy S III T999 uses both 2G and 3G networks. Those networks are as following : GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900 ( the 2G ones ) and HSDPA 850, HSDPA 1700, HSDPA 1900 and HSDPA 2100 ( the 3G ones ). The Samsung Galaxy S III T999 was announced in June 2012 and is said to come out somewhere around June 21th 2012. That’s about it for the general stuff, so let’s move on now to the next part.

This phone also has TouchWiz UI v4.0 installed on it, should you choose to activate it. That about sums up all info regarding the display, so let’s move on now.
SOUND
Next up we’ll be taking a look at the audio out put capabilities of the device. Mainly we’ll be trying to see whether or not the Samsung Galaxy S III T999 has any sound enhancement on it, be it software-based or otherwise, since most people already know the basic stuff about the sound of the device. Unfortunately, this phone is just like the other versions and lacks any sound enhancement whatsoever. The rest you already know : Vibration, MP3 and WAV ringtones ( as alert types ), loudspeaker and 3.5 mm audio jack. That’s all there is to the sound of the Samsung Galaxy S III T999, so let us move on now.
MEMORY
Next up we’ll be taking a brief look at the memory of the Samsung Galaxy S III T999. Here you can find out a thing or two about the RAM memory as well as the regular memory used for storage and ways of expanding said storage. The RAM of this phone is the highest amount available – 2 GB. This phone, alongside its other two counterparts and a few other phones, are part of the phones that dared to push the line of technology a bit further and raise the performance bar for phones world-wide. The Samsung Galaxy S III T999 is available in two different versions : a 16 GB version and a 32 GB one. Should none of those versions suffice to satisfy your needs, know that the Samsung Galaxy S III T999 has a Micro SD card slot which is just like its other two versions and as the original – it can support cards of up to 64 GB. That about sums up the memory, so let’s move on to the next part.
DATA CONNECTION
Next up we’ll be taking a look at the connectivity of the device. Here you can find out a bit about the GPRS and EDGE of the device, the Speed and WLAN as well as the Bluetooth, USB and other ( if any ) connections. The Samsung Galaxy S III T999 has both GPRS and EDGE, both of them Class 12. The GPRS has 4+1, 2+3, 3+2 and 1+4 slots and go up to 32 ~ 48 KB/s. the EDGE is a Class 12 and it isn’t specified what speed it can reach. The Speed per say of the device is as following : HSDPA at 21 MB/s and HSUPA at 5.76 MB/s. The WLAN of the Samsung Galaxy S III T999 is a Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct and Wi-Fi hotspot. The Bluetooth of this phone is a v4.0 one with A2DP and EDR. The Samsung Galaxy S III T999 also has NFC, which isn’t something you see on every phone. The USB port of this phone is a Micro USB v2.0 one ( MHL ) with USB On-The-Go support. That about covers the connectivity of the Samsung Galaxy S III T999, so let’s move on now.
CAMERA
Next up we’ll be taking a look at the camera of the Samsung Galaxy S III T999. Here you can find out a bit about the main and secondary cameras ( if any ) and see their features and capabilities. The OS of the Samsung Galaxy S III T999 is Android OS v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Since there’s no apparent need for an update for the next few months, let us move on to the final part of the review.
FEATURES
Last but not least, we’ll be taking a brief look at the features and capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy S III T999. The sensors of this phone are as following : Accelerometer, Gyro, RGB sensors, Proximity, Compass and Barometer. The messaging on this phone can be done via : SMS ( with Threaded View ), MMS, E-Mail, Push Mail, IM and RSS. The browser of the Samsung Galaxy S III T999 uses HTML and has integrated support for Adobe Flash. There is yet no news as to whether or not the Samsung Galaxy S III T999 will have a radio, however, even if it doesn’t that isn’t a problem since you can fix it by downloading and installing a radio app. The GPS of this phone has A-GPS support and GLONASS and the Samsung Galaxy S III T999 also has Java via Java MIDP emulation. This phone is available in the following colors : Pebble Blue and Marble White.
