If you enjoy gaming on the PC once in a while, you might have heard the term “MOBA game“. What MOBA stands for is Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. MOBA games are more often than not referred to as the perfect combination between RPG and RTS, all sprinkled with a hint of PVP. These are the games that were inspired from the classic mode of Warcraft III Multiplayer – DotA ( Defenders of the Ancients ). It quickly spawned a lot of similar games of the genre, and I apologize if I offended anyone by saying that DotA is the origin ( as far as I know and am versed in MOBA games, that was the first ). These games set a number of players ( usually 3 or 5 in each team ) against one another in a battle that lasts 20-60 minutes in which your purpose is to protect your base, while at the same time destroying the enemy’s base. If you try and explain it, it doesn’t really sound all that fun, but it’s quite addictive and quite enjoyable.
This particular app that we will take a glance at today is exactly one of those MOBA games. It looks great and plays quite well. Also, a decisive factor here ends up being the fact that, as so many other MOBA games out there, this game is free of charge. It is, as many would have liked, a mobile MOBA game for your Android device. In terms of graphics, it isn’t all that great if you compare it with most PC games, but it makes all the difference in the world if you consider the limited graphics of the other Android games. It looks sort of like Warcraft III with slight differences here and there.
FEATURES:
- An exceptionally rich and addictive game
- An immersive experience for you and your friends
DESCRIPTION:
Gather your friends, form a team and battle it out in this first mobile Android device MOBA ( Multiplayer Online Battle Arena ) game. After finally forming the team, strengthen your heroes and wipe out the enemy’s base in this thrilling, addictive and fast-paced game – Heroes of Order & Chaos. Now the lore of the game places you in Sinskaald Rift, a shrouded region of Haradon, where immortal warriors have been fighting for centuries, those immortals being known as the Heroes of Order and Chaos.
In time you will develop your own playing style and will end up making some favorites among the 30 unique heroes of the game. Are you the kind that likes to charge in ahead and soak the worst of the damage ( tank ), are the kind that likes to dish out some punishment and still be able to take it ( bruiser ) or are you more stealthy and like to be in and out of a situation before the enemy even notices ( assassin ) or do you prefer the more “glass-cannon” approach ( mage ) where you can dish out tons of damage but you have to rely on your team protecting you. Same as many PC MOBA games ( like League of Legends, for instance ), this game gives a weekly rotation of Free heroes with which you can play. The rest can be unlocked with virtual currency awarded to you if you win matches ( of with real cash, but that sort of takes the fun out of it ).
The game features two game modes: solo ( where you fight against bots ) and multiplayer. Also, there are 2 types of games you can play: either 3v3 or 5v5. You will have to be quite cooperative with your friends if you want to succeed. Also, never forget: this is just a game so there’s no need to get all over-competitive with the enemy team or rage out if you are losing.
