While some of the novelty has worn off by now, the 1080p screen resolution in 5.0 screens is still some relatively new tech for this market. It has barely been implemented as I imagine it’s still quite expensive to put in. Also, it would imply that you’re creating a pretty large phone in the first place. There are many who would love to try out that screen and see for themselves its capabilities and how it manifests itself in the long run. However, there aren’t that many willing to pay all that much for the expensive flagships that every big manufacturer releases. And let’s be real here, 650 dollars for a phone isn’t exactly all that cheap either ( were it that it was sold for that much, bu individuals vendors ask more than that ).
Here I find myself presenting to you the cheapest 1080p screen equipped phone. Now don’t expect it to be any large brand that you’ve heard of ( you may have heard of it, but I highly doubt it ). I am not so sure that it is all that reliable either, but it’s a cheap alternative no matter how you put it. Also, it is pretty limited area-wise, so it may be hard to get your hands on one ( possible, yet hard ). The Chinese market exclusive Neo N003 will be the most affordable smartphone with a 5 inch 1080p full HD display. It will be sold for 899 yuan ( or 145 dollars or 112 euros ) when it will hit the shelves. That, of course, is the retail price. There is also another cheap Chinese phone with a 1080p screen – the iOcean X7 Youth, however, that too costs 100 yuan more than this one.
Spec wise, this phone is pretty decent. The Neo N003 will have a Quad-Core MediaTek MT6589 silicon processor, a 13 MP camera and a 3000 mAh battery to power the fully HD display. A higher end version of the smartphone priced at 1899 yuan ( or around 242 dollars or 186 euros ) will also be available for purchase. However, there are as of yet no real details about the strength of that higher-end variant.
I guess only time will tell us more about it.
