N.O.V.A., or Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance, is apparently a pretty good looking series of games on Android. I am really sorry to have been completely oblivious to its existence, but my weak Android phone is mostly to blame as it can barely run even remotely 3D games, not stopping to count these marvels of mobile gaming design. In case you’ve never heard of this game either, it appears to be a multiplayer first person shooter for Android in which people have suits similar to the Crisis suit from the game with the same name as the suit. The action, however, seems to be just like that of the popular console mmo-fps Halo ( I can’t say I’ve played it before as I do not use consoles – but I do have one hell of a gaming rig, on the other hand ).
Also, a word of warning. This game is one of those few Android games that have graphics that could surprise just about anyone. As you should be used by now, most high-end games on Android occupy a lot of space ( same as the PC, except here 2 GB seems to be common among the high-enders, where as the PC is concerned most are at 20 GB ). As with many other games, this game also occupies around 2 GB worth of space from your device. Therefore, it would be unwise to attempt and download it from your SIM’s internet. I strongly advise getting this game when you are connected to some very powerful Wi-Fi hotspot.
This game isn’t exactly as cheap as your run of the mill average Android game, but it’s quite worth the value if you ask me. It offers a lot of content in the form of an extensive single player campaign and a multiplayer campaign that will keep you playing for hours and hours on end. If you ask me, it’s a pretty wise purchase. Had I been able to run it on my device, I would have also proceeded to download this fine Android game. Alas, I am stuck lagging with even the most basic of 3D games, but the phone serves its purpose nonetheless.

DESCRIPTION:
The lore of this game continues that of the previous installment, apparently. Four months having passed since Kal ruined the Volterites’ plans by sabotaging their war factories and putting a halt to their extraction of Judger Artifacts, yet the war was still far from over. With the assassination of President Folsom, the government surrendered the colonies to the Volterite Protectorate in order to prevent an all-out civil war. Kal Wardin had been living under the radar since the murder of Folsom, but yet again he receives a desperate plea from Yelena to come to Earth. Once again, it is up to one man to save mankind.
In this game, humanity will finally return to Earth after years of exile. You will be fighting in 10 immersive levels across the galaxy, those locations ranging from a war-torn Earth to a frozen Volterite city. You will also be able to fully take advantage of all the powers put at the disposal of the main hero of this epic tale. Also, in this game you have all the classical fps features that you’ve grown accustomed to on the PC, only they have been successfully and very efficiently ported to the Android platform.
Here is a trailer that sort of puts into more easier to understand images what I was trying to impart upon you:
