Much has been rumored and speculated about the next phone released by Motorola – the Moto G – which is a pretty good mid-range smartphone. Motorola has already launched an official teaser site for the upcoming phone, but now we’ve actually found out its official release date as well.
In the meantime, the phone has made its way on the internet through all sorts of leaks here and there ( the phone even popped up on GFX Benchmark’s database ). The scorecard given has revealed that the device comes with a 720p display and is powered by a Snapdragon 400 chipset, equipped with a Quad-Core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor and an Adreno 305 GPU. This is also a phone that will come out with Android OS v4.4 KitKat. It’s also known to have a 4.5 inch 720p supporting edge-to-edge display covered by a sheet of Gorilla Glass and a 5 MP camera with 720p HD video recording capabilities. Another leak has suggested that th battery capacity will be of 1950 mAh, but this is as of yet just a rumor.
As far as the price goes, we have a few different listings for the phone. Amazon UK has listed the device ( named it XT1032 ) for a price of 160 pounds, where as Tesco has listed the Motorola Moto G for 149 pounds. These pieces of information should be taken with a grain of salt, as they are taken from rumors, but they are pretty accurate nonetheless.
