GTA San Andreas, arguably one of the best ( if not THE best ) installment so far ( I haven’t played GTA V so don’t tell me IT IS THE BEST – as a PC Gamer, it doesn’t exist for me ) is finally coming to Android as of December. Rockstar Games, while taking a break from basking in the success of GTA V on consoles, decided to release a more familiar installment for fans of the series on a different platform.
This next GTA they’ll be releasing in December will be available for iOS and Android ( for both Google Play and Amazon ), and even for Windows Phones. Rockstar claims the game has been given a complete makeover, to ensure a 2004 game looks good by 2013 standards. They say they’ve revamped the graphics and the controls were optimized. Below you’ll find the quotes.
“Newly remastered graphics including dynamic and detailed shadows, greater draw distance, an enriched color palette, plus enhanced character and car models make this the best-looking version of San Andreas yet. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas also features brand new touch controls including contextual control options to display buttons only when you need them and three different control schemes for driving and maneuvering, as well as a reworked checkpoint system for easier progression.”
San Andreas will become the third GTA game to be re-released for smartphones and tablets, following Grand Theft Auto 3 and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, which both sell for 5 dollars on app stores. Also, while talking about apps, Rockstar has also released a joke app known as iFruit, which doesn’t really make much sense unless you’ve played GTA V.
